Wikipedia editors are organizing a dedicated effort to identify and remove AI-generated text from articles. The initiative responds to a growing volume of machine-written content being added to the encyclopedia, raising concerns about accuracy and reliability. Commenters are debating whether the cleanup can keep pace with the flood of AI contributions and what it means for volunteer-driven quality control.
