Sphinx tool quizzes developers on AI-written code before shipping
Original: Show HN: Sphinx – A hook that quizzes you on your AI's code before shipping
A developer has released Sphinx, a tool that acts as a hook forcing engineers to answer questions about AI-generated code before it can be merged or shipped. The aim is to combat blind acceptance of code written by AI assistants by making programmers demonstrate they actually understand it. The project is drawing attention among developers debating how to keep code review rigorous as AI coding tools become widespread.
Why now: Concern is growing that developers ship AI-generated code without understanding it, and this tool offers a direct countermeasure.
