Sphinx quizzes developers on AI-generated code before shipping
Original: Show HN: Sphinx – A hook that quizzes you on your AI's code before shipping
A developer has launched Sphinx, a tool designed as a hook that quizzes programmers on the AI-generated code they are about to ship. The idea is to slow down 'vibe coding' by forcing engineers to actually understand changes made by AI assistants before merging them. Reactions on Hacker News are mixed, with some praising the safeguard against careless AI use and others calling it friction-heavy theatre.
Why now: Growing concern that developers are shipping AI-written code they do not understand is making verification tools topical.
