A member of the Czech ICT trade union shared a personal film recommendation, pointing to the 1976 documentary Harlan County, USA, which follows a bitter Kentucky miners' strike. Writing on the union account, the member suggests the film to anyone wondering how they became a unionist, to current members in need of motivation, and to those weighing whether to join a union at all.
Why now: The documentary's depiction of labour struggle resonates with ongoing interest in union organising among tech workers.
