A member of a Czech ICT trade union is sharing a personal film recommendation, the 1976 documentary Harlan County, USA, which chronicles a bitter Kentucky miners' strike. The recommendation is framed as a question of how one becomes a unionist, aimed at people considering joining a union or looking for renewed motivation in their union work.
Why now: A union member is using the documentary to encourage others to join or engage with the labour movement.
