Critics slam billions in public money for Alberta pipeline

Original: And here's more @ avilewis . THIS is what the ABNDP should be reposing, NOT Danielle Smith: "Throwing billions in public

Former MP Avi Lewis is drawing attention to criticism that Alberta is throwing billions in public money behind a pipeline at a time of climate breakdown, while sweeping aside environmental protections, meaningful Indigenous consultation and workers' rights. Commenters argue the Alberta NDP should be responding to this issue rather than focusing on Premier Danielle Smith.

Why now: Public funding for a new pipeline amid climate concerns is reigniting debate over Alberta politics and the NDP's opposition strategy.
