Cuba to stay on daylight saving time until 2027
Original: Cuba is skipping its November 1, 2026 clock change and staying on DST until 2027
Cuba will not turn its clocks back on November 1, 2026 as originally scheduled, and will remain on daylight saving time until November 2027. The change keeps the island one hour ahead of standard time year-round, and observers are noting the implications for travel schedules, business hours and coordination with other countries that still switch clocks.
Why now: Announced changes to a country's timekeeping affect travel, scheduling and software, drawing wide attention
