Matt Mullenweg Orders Accessibility Revert, Bans WordPress Committer

Original: Matt Mullenweg Orders Accessibility Revert, Bans Core Wordpress Committer

WordPress co-creator Matt Mullenweg has ordered a revert of an accessibility change in the WordPress codebase and banned a core committer from the project, reportedly telling them to contribute their talents elsewhere. The move has sparked debate among developers about project governance, accessibility priorities, and how dissent within the WordPress community is handled.

Why now: Mullenweg's unilateral decision-making in the WordPress open-source project continues to draw scrutiny from developers and observers.
