Zelensky adviser: Ukraine's Starlink access cut without warning
Original: 'This cannot be a coincidence' — Ukraine's Starlink access restricted without warning, Zelensky adviser says
A senior adviser to President Zelensky says Ukraine's access to SpaceX's Starlink satellite network was restricted without warning, commenting 'This cannot be a coincidence.' Ukraine depends heavily on Starlink to operate its mid-strike drones over Russian-occupied territory, and the reported disruption raises questions about whether the restriction was technical or a deliberate decision by SpaceX. No confirmation has come from the company.
Why now: Ukraine's military operations rely on Starlink, so any sudden restriction fuels fears about political pressure on SpaceX and the war's dependence on a single private provider.
