Giraffe surprises safari photographers after hour-long water hole wait
Original: Sitting at the water hole for more than an hour, always observing some giraffe FAAAAR away behind the bushes. Before sun
Wildlife photographers waited over an hour at an African water hole watching a giraffe far in the distance behind bushes. As sunset approached they gave up and drove back to camp, avoiding walking because of possible black rhino encounters. On the way, a curious giraffe unexpectedly appeared and looked at them, capping a patient stakeout with a rewarding close encounter.
Why now: Charming wildlife encounter photos shared from a safari resonate with nature lovers online.
