French Debate Erupts Over 'ACAB' Slogans at Protests
Original: acab
In France, the slogan 'ACAB' is at the centre of a heated debate after Juliette Briens denounced what she called an amalgamation between anti-police messaging, phrases like 'F*ck la police', and Palestinian flags at demonstrations. The discussion is drawing wide attention across French media and social networks.
Why now: Slogans seen at recent French protests are sparking controversy over the mixing of anti-police and pro-Palestinian messaging.
