Europa Nostra and 200+ organisations urge EU to reverse Creative Europe cuts
Original: Europa Nostra joins 200+ organisations in calling on EU Member States to reverse the proposed cuts to Creative Europe's 2027 budget
Europa Nostra, together with more than 200 organisations, has called on EU Member States to reverse proposed cuts to the Creative Europe programme's 2027 budget. The coalition warns that reducing funding for culture would harm the cultural and creative sectors across Europe and urges governments to restore the proposed amounts in the next EU budget negotiations.
Why now: EU budget negotiations for 2027 are under way, and the proposed cuts to cultural funding have mobilised a broad coalition of cultural organisations.
