Robert P. Jones draws Nazi comparison to MAGA movement
Original: Robert P Jones compares MAGA to Nazis
Robert P. Jones, author and founder of the Public Religion Research Institute, has drawn a comparison between the MAGA movement and Nazis, sparking debate online. Supporters of the movement are pushing back against the characterization, while critics argue the comparison reflects growing alarm about the direction of American politics.
Why now: Comparisons between prominent political movements and Nazism are highly charged and reliably spark heated discussion, especially in the current polarized climate.
