Experts urge Congress to sharpen Nepal foreign policy
Original: Experts, leaders urge Congress to adopt a sharper foreign policy
Experts and leaders have called on the Nepali Congress to adopt a sharper, clearer foreign policy, according to The Kathmandu Post. The appeal reflects concern that the party and Nepal's broader political leadership lack a coherent approach to relations with neighbours and major powers. Observers argue a more defined policy line is needed as geopolitical pressure on Kathmandu grows.
Why now: Rising regional and geopolitical tensions are prompting debate over Nepal's lack of a clear foreign policy direction.
