Aaron Sorkin Surprised Jesse Eisenberg Turned Down Mark Zuckerberg Role

Original: Aaron Sorkin Surprised Jesse Eisenberg Wouldn't Want to Play Mark Zuckerberg

Aaron Sorkin says he was surprised that Jesse Eisenberg did not want to play Mark Zuckerberg again. Eisenberg, who earned an Oscar nomination for portraying the Meta founder in 'The Social Network', declined to reprise the role as Sorkin moves forward with the follow-up, 'The Social Reckoning'. Sorkin's remarks highlight the split between the two on returning to the Facebook story.

Why now: Attention is on Sorkin's upcoming Zuckerberg-focused sequel and Eisenberg's unexpected decision not to return to the role.
