Amnesty's Write for Rights marks 25 years of activism
Original: As Write for Rights turns 25, here are 7 times it helped to deliver justice
Amnesty International is marking the 25th anniversary of its Write for Rights campaign, the world's largest human rights letter-writing event. To mark the milestone, the organisation highlights seven cases where the annual flood of letters helped deliver justice, from people freed after wrongful imprisonment to families finally getting answers. Supporters are being encouraged to take part in this year's round of letter-writing for people at risk.
Why now: The campaign's 25th anniversary has prompted Amnesty to celebrate past wins and rally participation in this year's letter-writing drive.
