Original: As Write for Rights turns 25, here are 7 times it helped to deliver justice

Amnesty International is marking the 25th anniversary of its Write for Rights campaign, the world's largest human rights letter-writing event. To mark the milestone, the organisation highlights seven cases where the mass letter-writing effort helped deliver justice, including releases of people wrongfully detained. Supporters worldwide are being encouraged to take part in this year's campaign ahead of Human Rights Day in December.

Why now: The campaign's 25th anniversary prompts reflection on its past successes and a push for new participants.
