Astronauts reach ISS in record time aboard Dragon capsule

Original: Astronauten erreichen ISS in Rekordzeit So schnell war noch kein US-Raumschiff an der ISS: Knapp acht Stunden nach dem S

A SpaceX Dragon capsule carrying four astronauts from the United States, Canada and Russia has docked with the International Space Station just under eight hours after launch, the fastest a US spacecraft has ever reached the orbiting outpost. The shortcut trajectory marks a notable milestone for NASA and its commercial crew programme, and the multinational crew's swift arrival is drawing widespread attention.

Why now: The unusually fast docking sets a new record for a US spacecraft reaching the ISS.
