Mamdani rejects Netanyahu's UN criticism as Gaza distraction

Original: Mamdani rips Netanyahu’s UN jab as Gaza distraction: ‘Not about me and him’

New York politician Zohran Mamdani pushed back after Benjamin Netanyahu criticised him during his address at the United Nations, dismissing the remarks as a distraction from the war in Gaza. Mamdani said the dispute is 'not about me and him', arguing attention should stay on the humanitarian situation rather than personal clashes between the two figures.

Why now: Netanyahu's UN speech attacking Mamdani drew fresh attention to their feud and kept the Gaza war in the headlines.
