IDF Launches Site Claiming Gaza Journalists Were Hamas Operatives
Original: IDF Launches Site Allegedly Showing Gaza Journalists Were Hamas Operatives
The Israeli military has launched a website presenting what it says is evidence that journalists in Gaza were members or operatives of Hamas. The move is likely to fuel an already fierce debate over press freedom, casualty verification, and the safety of media workers covering the war, with critics expected to question the evidence and its timing.
Why now: The claim directly touches the contested and highly sensitive issue of whether Gaza journalists had ties to Hamas amid the ongoing war.
