Calls grow to eliminate kickoffs from football at every level
Original: Time to eliminate the kick off from all levels of football
A commentary argues that the kickoff should be removed from football altogether, at every level of the game, citing player safety concerns around high-speed collisions on the play. Why now: Ongoing concern over player injuries on kickoffs has made rule-change proposals a recurring talking point in football.
