Computer Science Programs Lose Students as AI Replaces Jobs
Computer science degree programs are reporting falling student enrollment as artificial intelligence takes over coding and other entry-level tech jobs. The story has drawn wide debate about the future value of technical education in an AI-driven job market.
Why now: AI's impact on tech employment is making prospective students and families question whether a computer science degree is still worth pursuing.
