33 Countries Urging Citizens to Stockpile Emergency Supplies
Original: 33 COUNTRIES ARE TELLING THEIR CITIZENS TO STOCKPILE FOR EMERGENCY. HERE IS THE FULL LIST EUROPE (17): AUSTRIA: 10–14 DA
A widely shared list claims 33 governments are now advising citizens to keep emergency stockpiles at home. In Europe, Austria reportedly recommends 10–14 days of supplies, Germany up to 10 days, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Estonia one week, the UK three days and France 72 hours. Similar advice has spread across other regions in recent years as governments prepare populations for blackouts, war and disasters.
Why now: Heightened concern over war, energy security and disaster preparedness is drawing attention to official civil-defence guidance.
