33 Countries Now Advising Citizens to Stockpile Emergency Supplies
Original: 33 COUNTRIES ARE TELLING THEIR CITIZENS TO STOCKPILE FOR EMERGENCY. HERE IS THE FULL LIST EUROPE (17): AUSTRIA: 10–14 DA
A widely shared list claims 33 governments are officially telling citizens to keep emergency stockpiles at home, citing recommended durations: Austria 10–14 days, Germany up to 10 days, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Estonia one week, the UK three days, and France 72 hours. Many European countries have indeed updated civil preparedness guidance in recent years, encouraging households to store water, food and essentials for potential crises, war or infrastructure failures.
Why now: Rising geopolitical tensions and government civil-defence campaigns are prompting renewed attention to official emergency-preparedness advice.
