Munich's Olympic Park assessed for potential Games return
Original: Olympics in Munich? How fit is the Olympic Park? | Focus TV Reportage
A German television reportage examines whether Munich's Olympic Park is fit to host Olympic Games again, more than fifty years after the 1972 Summer Olympics. The programme reviews the condition of the park's venues and infrastructure, asking how realistic a renewed Olympic bid for the Bavarian capital would be, and what state the landmark site is in today.
Why now: Munich has repeatedly been floated as a candidate for future Olympic Games, renewing debate over whether its 1972 Olympic Park could still cope.
