Space Is Infrastructure, Not the Hero
Original: #SpaceWatchGL Opinion: Space Is Not the Hero. It’s the Infrastructure.
SpaceWatch.GLOBAL has published an opinion piece arguing that space should be understood as infrastructure rather than a source of spectacle. The article contends that satellites and space systems quietly underpin daily life on Earth, from communications to navigation, and deserve to be treated and funded accordingly. The piece adds to ongoing debate in space policy circles about how governments and the public frame the value of space activities.
Why now: It contributes to current policy debate about how space spending and governance should be justified.
