Opinion: Space Is Infrastructure, Not the Hero
Original: #SpaceWatchGL Opinion: Space Is Not the Hero. It’s the Infrastructure.
SpaceWatch.GLOBAL has published an opinion piece arguing that space should be understood as infrastructure rather than as a headline-grabbing endeavour. The author contends that satellites, navigation systems and orbital services quietly underpin daily economic and social life, and that policy should treat space as critical infrastructure requiring investment, protection and governance rather than celebrating individual missions.
Why now: Space policy debates and growing reliance on satellite services are prompting discussion of how space should be framed and governed.
