Developer builds OnKey app that shows singers where they're off-key
Original: Show HN: OnKey – I'm a bad singer, so I built an app to show where I'm off-key
A developer has released OnKey, an app built after struggling with his own singing. The tool analyses a person's vocals and highlights exactly where the pitch drifts off-key, giving users visual feedback on their intonation. The project has been shared openly on GitHub, and commenters are discussing how it works, its accuracy and whether it could help people train their singing voice.
Why now: The app is a novel, relatable tool that turns a common personal frustration into useful pitch feedback.
