Writer details getting 300 Tor exit nodes removed
Original: How I got over 300 Tor exit nodes removed
A security writer has published an account of how they got more than 300 Tor exit nodes taken offline, detailing the abuse reports and process behind the removals. The post is drawing attention among network engineers and privacy advocates, who see it as a case study in how quickly Tor relay operators can lose infrastructure through complaints to hosting providers.
Why now: It raises concerns about the fragility of Tor's network and how easily exit nodes can be knocked out via hosting provider complaints.
