Doctors Without Borders warns of growing restrictions on Palestinians
Original: The violence experienced by our colleague, barriers to reaching medical care and growing restrictions imposed on Palesti
Doctors Without Borders has issued a statement describing violence suffered by one of its colleagues, barriers preventing patients from reaching medical care, and increasingly severe restrictions imposed on Palestinian communities. The organisation argues these developments are not coincidental but part of a broader pattern, drawing fresh attention to conditions facing medical workers and civilians in the Palestinian territories.
Why now: The humanitarian organisation's new statement about attacks on its staff and obstacles to medical care is drawing attention to escalating conditions for Palestinians.
