Developer unveils bot that answers calls and wastes scammers' time
Original: Show HN: CallSitter – bot that answers my calls and wastes scammers' time
A developer has released CallSitter, an open-source tool that automatically answers phone calls and keeps phone scammers on the line, wasting their time instead of the user's. The project is shared as a Show HN submission and is drawing attention from people interested in call-blocking and anti-scam tools.
Why now: Robocall and phone-scam fatigue is widespread, so a tool that turns the tables on scammers resonates with many users.
