British Airways May Cancel Tickets Over Meta Glasses Filming
Original: British Airways: Filming Crew W Meta Glasses Could Get Your Tickets Cancelled
British Airways is reportedly warning passengers that filming crew members while wearing Meta smart glasses could lead to their tickets being cancelled. The airline's stance raises questions about privacy rules on board and how wearable camera technology is treated during flights. Travellers are debating where the line falls between documenting their journey and violating crew privacy.
Why now: Wearable camera devices like Meta smart glasses are becoming more common, and airlines' rules about recording crew are newly relevant to travellers.
