British Airways warns passengers filming crew with Meta smart glasses
Original: British Airways: Filming Crew W Meta Glasses Could Get Your Tickets Cancelled
British Airways has warned that passengers filming or photographing crew members with Meta smart glasses could have their tickets cancelled. The airline treats covert recording of staff with camera-enabled eyewear the same as other disruptive or abusive behaviour toward crew. The policy is drawing attention as Meta's glasses become more common and airlines clarify rules on wearable cameras aboard flights.
Why now: Wearable camera glasses are newly widespread, prompting airlines to spell out how filming crew will be treated.
