eBay Restricts Radio Equipment Listings, Spares Ham Radio Gear

Original: eBay Restricts Listings of Radio Equipment, but Exempts Ham-Band-Only Gear

eBay has introduced restrictions on listings of radio equipment, but the new policy exempts gear that operates only on amateur radio bands. The ARRL reported the change in its newsletter, noting that ham-band-only equipment remains saleable while other radio devices face limits. Radio enthusiasts are weighing the impact on buying and selling used transceivers and accessories online.

Why now: New eBay policy on radio equipment directly affects the amateur radio community and second-hand gear sales.
