NetBSD may have found a new role: the AI-free FOSS OS
NetBSD is being discussed as a possible home for developers who want a free and open source operating system untouched by AI features. The Register reports that growing awareness of the lightweight OS is translating into wider adoption and a steady increase in donations, suggesting renewed community interest in a deliberately simple, AI-free platform.
