Modders claim AI-assisted PS5-to-PC emulator is 80% complete
Original: Modders Used AI to Port the PS5 to PC… It's 80% Done
A team of modders says it is using artificial intelligence to port PS5 functionality to PC, claiming the project is roughly 80% done. The news is generating buzz among gaming and emulation communities, with enthusiasts debating whether AI-assisted development could crack the PS5's complex architecture far faster than traditional emulator teams have. If true, the project would allow console-exclusive titles to run on PC without official Sony support, raising both excitement and questions about legality.
Why now: An 80%-complete AI-assisted PS5 emulator would be a major breakthrough for PC gaming, and people are excited and skeptical in equal measure.
