Fresh graduate says tech degree useless in Manila job market
Original: my 4-year tech degree is completely useless in Manila (4 interviews, 0 offers) | Fresh Grad in 🇵🇭
A recent graduate in the Philippines, writing under the name Jade, says her four-year tech degree has proven worthless in Manila's job market after four interviews and zero job offers. Her account of post-graduation rejection is drawing large attention, resonating with young Filipinos facing a tough entry-level market for tech roles despite the country's growing IT and outsourcing industry.
Why now: It touches a nerve with graduates struggling to land jobs in a competitive Manila tech hiring market.
