Mattel has released a signature Barbie doll honouring Serena Williams, modelled on her appearance at the 2005 Australian Open, where she famously came back from match point down against Maria Sharapova to win the title. The doll is part of Barbie's signature line celebrating notable women, and sports fans are sharing their reactions to the tribute.
Why now: The release of a major athlete tribute doll is new, and Williams remains one of the most talked-about figures in tennis.
