Running the Pi coding agent on Temporal
Original: The immortal life of Pi (Running the Pi coding agent on Temporal)
Temporal has published a post on running the Pi coding agent on its workflow orchestration platform, described as 'the immortal life of Pi'. The piece explains how durable execution can keep a long-running coding agent alive across failures and restarts, a growing concern as AI agents take on extended, stateful tasks. Developers are discussing the approach on Hacker News, where the item has reached the front page.
Why now: Interest in reliably running long-lived AI agents is high, and Temporal's durable execution model offers a practical answer.
