Instagram fatigue drives another user migration wave
Original: Time for a new # introduction Been offline for some time now but getting tired of Instagram again so here we are. - # un
Social media users continue leaving Instagram, with a German trade unionist and software developer introducing themselves on an alternative decentralized platform after a period offline. Their profile lists IG Metall membership, open-source software advocacy, a MacBook M1 and a Google Pixel 7 running GrapheneOS, reflecting a broader trend of privacy-conscious, labor-affiliated users seeking alternatives to mainstream platforms.
Why now: Recurring dissatisfaction with Instagram keeps pushing users toward decentralized alternatives, and such introductions resonate with like-minded communities.
