New tool offers sharded encrypted storage over Yggdrasil
Original: Sharded, encrypted storage between friends over Yggdrasil
A developer has released Yggstore, an open-source tool that provides sharded, encrypted storage shared between groups of friends over the Yggdrasil network. The project lets users distribute encrypted data fragments across trusted peers, reducing reliance on centralised cloud providers. It is drawing attention from privacy-minded technologists interested in decentralised networking and peer-to-peer storage.
