India is reported to have carried out a cross-border drone strike against NSCN-K positions in Myanmar, days after an ambush killed members of the Assam Rifles. The operation, described as a surgical strike, reportedly took place within four days of the attack. Commentators are framing it as retaliation and a signal of India's willingness to act across the border against militant groups.
