Israel's Katz Vows to Hunt October 7 Hamas Operatives Abroad
Original: IDF's Hamas Hitlist: Israel's Katz Vows To Hunt Gaza Terrorists Abroad Who Were Involved In Oct 7
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has vowed that Israel will hunt down Hamas members involved in the October 7 attack on Israel, including those residing outside Gaza. The pledge, framed as an IDF 'hitlist', signals Israel's intention to pursue operatives abroad, echoing past targeted assassination campaigns and raising questions about operations in third countries.
Why now: The defence minister's public pledge to pursue Hamas figures internationally marks an escalation of Israel's post-October 7 campaign and draws attention to its extraterritorial implications.
