The US Air Force has reportedly withdrawn all of its bomber jets from RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, England, after commanders received new reports of an Iran-backed plot targeting the base. The post making the claim frames the American military presence there as part of a campaign against Iran, language that is contested and reflects strongly anti-US political framing rather than established reporting.

Why now: Claims of a security threat prompting a sudden withdrawal of US bombers from a UK base are alarming and politically charged, drawing attention and debate.
