Racist post about migrant groups in Europe and the US spreads
Original: Every problem demographic group in Europe is a lower quality variant than the ones that make it here. Except maybe somal
A social media user with a US audience claimed that immigrant and minority groups in Europe are a 'lower quality variant' of the groups arriving in the United States, singling out Somalians as a possible exception. The remark is a derogatory comparison of demographic and migrant populations across the two continents and is being engaged with by other users.
Why now: Debates over immigration and demographic change in Europe and the US are currently drawing high engagement, including openly racist commentary.
