Botched redaction exposes Google data center's water and electricity use
Original: Improper redaction reveals Google Data Center water and electricity usage
A poorly redacted public document has revealed details of the water and electricity consumed by Google's data center in Lincoln, Nebraska. The disclosure has prompted complaints from residents and local officials who say the city's agreements with Google keep utility usage secret, leaving more questions than answers about the project's environmental impact.
