Tool lets Apple Magic accessories switch between two Macs
Original: Magic Switch: Share Apple Magic keyboard/track-pad/mouse between two Macs
Developer Joshua has released Magic Switch, a utility that lets users share a single Apple Magic keyboard, trackpad or mouse between two Macs without manually re-pairing Bluetooth. The tool quickly switches the accessory's connection from one machine to the other, a long-standing frustration for people who work across a desktop and a MacBook. Early reaction on Hacker News has been positive, with users discussing the convenience of the approach.
Why now: Sharing one Bluetooth keyboard and mouse across multiple Macs is a common annoyance, and the new tool offers a simple fix.
