A German hemp initiative covering 2011 to 2022 is being highlighted for its research and information work on behalf of the hemp community. The post points to what developed out of those efforts, touching on science, medicine, politics and democracy. Little verifiable detail is available beyond the initiative's own retrospective account of its activities.

Why now: Ongoing German debate about cannabis and hemp policy keeps interest in past hemp advocacy initiatives alive.
