Russian drones struck Kyiv's Northern Bridge, injuring two people, shortly after German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in the Ukrainian capital for an unannounced visit. It was the fourth consecutive day of attacks on the bridge. The strike, timed against a senior European leader's presence in Kyiv, is drawing attention to ongoing Russian drone barrages on the city's infrastructure and the symbolism of targeting during diplomatic visits.
