Original: # truecrime # feminism The Cornell 7 Have an Unsettling Defender https:// medium.com/fourth-wave/the-cor nell-7-have-an-
An essay circulating under true crime and feminism tags argues that the so-called Cornell 7 — a group whose case has drawn public scrutiny — have attracted a defender described as unsettling. The piece examines who is backing them and what that support reveals about tensions within feminist and true crime communities. Readers are debating the ethics of defending figures tied to serious criminal allegations.
Why now: The unusual alliance between a controversial defender and a feminist true crime framing is prompting discussion online.
